Edinburgh Cocktail Week 2018
📅 Monday 15 - Sunday 21 October 2018
If you're a fan of cocktails then Edinburgh Cocktail Week is the must-attend event for you and your friends this Autumn, 15-21st October.
The idea is simple yet ingenious - buy a wristband and enjoy signature cocktails at over 80 of Edinburgh's finest cocktail bars including Tigerlily, Harvey Nichols, The Refinery, The Printing Press and The Grand Cafe.
This year's expanded format also sees the addition of an exciting Cocktail Village at Festival Square. The Cocktail Village is free to enter with an ECW wristband and will be the social hub of this year's festival, where you can meet-up with friends and catch-up over cocktails from 15 pop-up bars including Edinburgh Gin, Grey Goose Vodka, St-Germain, Johnnie Walker and Poco Prosecco in the comfort of an enclosed marquee. There will also be live music and DJs providing entertainment, plus free drop-in style masterclasses to attend before setting off on your cocktail adventure around the city.
Throughout the week there is a programme of unique events, masterclasses and parties to attend, with the week-long cocktail celebrations kicking-off with an Absolut Porn Star Martini Party at 4042, an ‘Agave Dreams’ sleepover party at Tonic with Altos Tequila, and Gin Debauchery with Pickering’s Gin at Brewhemia.
Other festival highlights include a Whisky themed Escape Room at Nightcap with Chivas Royal, daily tasting tours of Sweetdram's newly-opened distillery, and hands-on cocktail-making classes at the new Secret Spirits Study pop-up on Queen Street - a masterclass hub by day and hidden underground bar by night, hosted by Wemyss Malts and Darnley's Gin.
And the fun doesn't stop there! With a wristband you can also enjoy free entry to George Street's top late-night venues including Lulu, Shanghai and the newly refurbished Eastside, as well as exclusive promotions and discounts at NOW by One Spa, Royal Mile Whiskies and Drinkmonger.
Wristbands are on sale now from £6 at
